FOOTBALL HAIKU

A new anthology of Football Haiku will be published for the 2006 World Cup, hosted by Germany. This is an open invitation to submit ‘Football Haiku’.

The ‘Football Haiku’ form consists of three lines, one word per line. Variations on the form will be considered sympathetically.

Any number of ‘Football Haiku’ may be submitted. These may be in any language (if other than English, please provide a translation).

A selection of poems was published in the first anthology, Football Haiku in 2002. The new anthology will be available for the World Cup in 2006.
